Go on a hunt for fantastic critters around the museums in Singapore during the December school holidays as part of Children’s Season 2021.

Children’s Season 2021: Fantastic Critters & Where To Find Them this Year-end Holidays

You can collect your copy of the Fantastic Critters Activity Booklet from 24 November at participating museums and proceed to complete the activities listed in the booklet. Once you have completed them, you can collect specially designed critter stickers.

The booklet can also be downloaded online.

The stickers have been designed by Singaporean artist Candice Phang – also known as Puffingmuffin – who is known for her whimsical and colourful design style.

Collect 10 critter stickers in the activity booklet to redeem a specially designed mask set (includes 1 adult-sized mask and 1 child-sized mask) from the Museum Roundtable.

Year-end Holiday Programmes at the Museums in Singapore

The museums in Singapore are also running a variety of programmes in conjunction with Children’s Season 2021. Here a look at some of them.

ArtScience Museum

Light Ball Orchestra

On 29 Nov, 4 pm to 5 pm, journey through an immersive world through Future World at ArtScience Museum and discover thought-provoking ideas and themes behind this exciting digital interactive installation created in collaboration with teamLab. Get tickets here.

Asian Civilisations Museum

From 20 Nov to 31 Dec, go on a self-guided activity trail and search out fantastic creatures at the galleries. Pick up an activity trail booklet from the Front Desk and use it to discover animals and other interesting creatures in the museum. Complete the trail booklet to redeem a special DIY animal puzzle kit.

Malay Heritage Centre

Heritage Hunters at the Malay Heritage Centre will have to find hidden treasures in the galleries. Decipher the clues to unlock the code which will lead you along your quest.

National Museum of Singapore

Go on an artefacts hunt around the National Museum of Singapore. Explore the galleries,
solve riddles to discover little-known facts behind the mysterious artefacts, and complete the hunt to redeem a prize. Book tickets here.

Singapore Discovery Centre

Pick up a self-guided trail card to explore Singapore Discovery Centre through the eyes of a little critter – a kanchiong spider. Complete all the activities and stand a chance to win attractive prizes.

Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall

Go on a “Be a Little Fashionista” heritage hunt. Pick up a kit and go on a hunt with Xiao Qing to discover Chinese fashion, culture and history through a series of interactive activities.
