Planning to pay a visit to Singapore’s only geothermally heated spring? If so, you may be wondering about the Sembawang Hot Spring location and how to get there.
For a long time, this natural feature was barely marked out from the main road and accessible only by a narrow path. Now, with the opening of the Sembawang Hot Spring Park in January 2020, the entrance to the hot spring is much more clearly marked. Nonetheless, it is not as readily accessible as most other parks in Singapore.
Sembawang Hot Spring Location
The Sembawang Hot Spring location is a short walk in from Gambas Avenue with the entrance along Gambas Avenue.
A point of reference is the major junction between Sembawang Road and Gambas Avenue and Yishun Avenue 7. The entrance to the Sembawang Hot Spring is around 200 metres from that junction.
For those who are travelling northwards along Sembawang Road, a major landmark before you reach the junction is the military base on the left and Chong Pang Market on the right.
