Admire installations at the Light to Night Festival 2022

Light To Night Festival 2022: 7 Must-See Sights After DarkThe annual Light to Night Festival is back starting Friday 14 January and will run for three weeks till 3 February 2022. Expect over 60 day and night experiences over the course of the three weeks, visit the Civic District with your family to enjoy the free experiences at the museums and malls. Celebrate Pongal 2022

“4 Days of Pongal Display”

One of the big celebrations happening this weekend is Pongal. This harvest celebration is observed by the Tamil community and also marks the start of the Tamil month of Thai. There are various activities that everyone can participate in such as educational tours, art exhibitions, and various craft activities. You can even see some live cattle at the temporary cow farm. Visit the Kreta Ayer Heritage Gallery

Chinese Opera

Located within the Kreta Ayer Community Centre, the small Kreta Ayer Heritage Gallery showcases this heritage of the historic area. Visitors can get a glimpse into the cultural heartland of Chinatown, capturing the forms of entertainment in early Singapore and preserving traditional art forms such as Chinese opera, hand puppetry, and calligraphy. Don Don Donki at Waterway Point

Residents in Punggol can celebrate as Japanese convenience store Don Don Donki opens their 12th outlet at Waterway Point. Residents will no longer have to travel to get their necessities or to satisfy their cravings for delicious Japanese snacks. It is currently at Basement 1 and is most accessible from the entrance coming from the Punggol Waterway Park area.


Go shopping at the various warehouse sales

With Chinese New Year fast approaching, much of the shopping can be done online, with some brands holding sales at their warehouses.
