For one man, he loves collecting sounds. And just like other collectors, the sound collector is always looking for something new to add to his collection.

The sound collector finds joy in seeking out new sounds. Once he finds an interesting sound, he captures it and stores it in a glass jar.
However, each jar contains more than just a sound. Each sound in his collection represents a treasured memory and evokes a fuzzy feeling in him.
Every day, sound requests will come in from people all over the world, and the sound collector will take these sounds that he has collected, mix and blend it so that he can complete the sound requests and then send them out.
But one day, something strange happens – a mighty burp ripples through his entire body, a vibration so powerful that he just has to collect it before it flies away!
Join the man as he goes on a whimsical chase to collect Burp in his sound jar. Will he be able to capture Burp or will Burp fly away?

This charming new production is part of Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay’s beloved PLAYtime! series. It is directed by renowned children’s theatre composer Stan and is written by playwright Jean Tay. It will be performed by Vanessa Toh and Lian Sutton.
