A visit to the Southern Islands is a great way to spend a day out, off-shore and away from mainland Singapore. For the next three months from 13 March 2021, you can now rent bicycles to explore St. John’s Island and Lazarus Island on two wheels at Gogreen Bicycle Rental pop-up store.

This will be the first time that St. John’s Island will have a bike rental store and it arrives just in time for the March school holidays 2021. Instead of having to lug bicycles to St. John’s Island and Lazarus Island, you can now pick up one from the Gogreen pop-up bike rental store just inland from the jetty at St. John’s Island.

At the Gogreen Southern Island Bicycle Rental, you can pick up either a bicycle or a kick-scooter. There will be over 35 bicycles available and 25 kick-scooters for rent. The bikes are suitable for those aged 7 and above while a limited number of children’s bikes for those 3 to 6 years old will be available.

Bike and scooter rentals at the pop-up store cost $30 for the full day from 11 am to 4 pm.

In addition to the bikes, the Gogreen Bike Rental Store on St John’s Island will also have pop-up beach tents available for rent. The beach tent rentals cost $25 for the full day.

The store will operate from Fridays to Sundays after the March school holidays 2021 for three months.

Since Lazarus Island is connected to St. John’s Island by a causeway, you can head all over to explore both offshore islands on two-wheels, including the latter’s wonderful crescent-shaped beach and with its turquoise waters.
