
It’s the Year of the Tiger and red packet collectors will be happy to know that the Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Collection is back with plenty of cute themed hongbaos.
These limited edition Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year ang baos feature a tiger character, dressed up in various costumes, out and about at the various museums around Singapore.

Ang Bao collectors can spot various icons referencing the individual museums. Some of the red packets, such as the ones from The National Library and Geylang Serai Heritage Gallery, feature more than one tiger in the design.
This is the 8th time that the Museum Roundtable is having a giveaway of their popular red packets.
Museum Roundtable Lunar New Year Hongbao Collection 2022: Year of the Tiger Ang Bao Sets

There are a total of 35 unique hongbaos or red packet designs to be collected from participating museums and galleries. This year’s Museum Roundtable red packets were designed by Emily Luo, the illustrator and creator of Moshicatinc.
This year also sees two new galleries participating in the Lunar New Year ang bao giveaway – Geylang Serai Heritage Gallery and Kreta Ayer Heritage Gallery.

Take note that individual museums and galleries may stipulate their own red packet collection addresses and additional collection criteria for the collection of red packets.
The red packets come in a set of eight pieces. Each visitor is limited to one complimentary set.
*These museums will be participating online or at alternative locations. Collectors who wish to add these designs to their collection can look out for updates on the NHB website.
Limited Edition Red Packet Collector’s Album
This year, there will also be a limited edition collector’s album available for sale for the first time. Each album will contain two full sets of the Museum Roundtable red packets in a customised album. They will feature a red background. This will differentiate them from the ang paos which can be picked up from the museums which have a pink background.
The collector’s albums will be available from 22 January 2022 at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. Each album is priced at $70.
