Enter the world of pangolins at Wild About Twilight at Night Safari, where visitors will venture into the wild with Berani, one of the rescued Sunda pangolins rehabilitated by Mandai Wildlife Group, to discover hidden Augmented Reality animals on the walking trails and learn how to play a part in the fight against extinction.
Follow Berani’s virtual counterpart in a quest to discover hidden Augmented Reality animals along the walking trails and complete challenges on the Animal Quest app. The mission? To learn more about these wonderful creatures of the night and join the fight against extinction.
Trace the footsteps of Kirra the explorer through a Virtual Reality movie as she goes on a quest across continents in search of the Sunda pangolin and come into contact with other wildlife in their natural habitats along the way.
Wild About Twilight 2021 Activities
Meet Berani, our Sunda pangolin
Berani, which translates to brave in Malay, is a rescued Sunda pangolin rehabilitated by Mandai Wildlife Group. In 2018, Berani underwent what was the world’s first orthopaedic surgery. He has made an astounding recovery and can now be found navigating trees and vines in his new exhibit along Leopard Trail!

Animal Quest on the Trails
Hidden under the cover of the night are AR animals waiting to be discovered. Download the Animal Quest app and let it guide your adventure as you learn how you can play a part in animal conservation.
Venture onto the Rainforest Lumina walking trails and with the help of Berani’s virtual counterpart, locate them by completing challenges on your Animal Quest app. Get a chance to come face to face with these elusive creatures of the night!

Journey with Pangolin Experience
1. VR Movie
Put on your VR goggles and trace the footsteps of Kirra the explorer, as she goes on a quest across continents in search of the Sunda pangolin. Along the journey, be prepared to make close contact with wildlife that will appear around you; so keep your eyes peeled!
2. Wild Explorer Panels
Get to know the animals you met on your VR journey in greater detail. Learn how you can become a protector of biodiversity!
3. Wild Quiz
Think you know the animals you have just met? Pit your wits against your family and friends as you race to complete the challenges within the Wild Quiz!
4. Animal Doodles
Let your creativity run wild, add a splash of colour to our pangolin illustration and watch it come to life before your eyes!

Booking tickets to Wild About Twilight 2021
Local residents will enjoy a 40 per cent discount when they purchase two same-day tickets for their visit to Night Safari from 25 October to 17 November 2021.
From 18 November 2021 to 2 January 2022, Night Safari can be booked daily, while Rainforest Lumina will be available on all days except Monday.
