Made up of two parts, the Valley Spring playground is a little play spot for kids living in the Yishun neighbourhood. There is a layered climbing tower at one play area while a bright yellow fish and a little musical hut beckons at another.

The Valley Spring estate is not far away from Everspring Park, the relatively large neighbourhood with larger open spaces for kids to run about and play. In contrast, the Valley Spring estate is smaller.

Amidst the blocks of flats, you will come across two Valley Spring playgrounds, both located next to the multi-storey car park.

Older kids can take to the teal coloured play tower.

To climb the tower, there are several layers of webbing that they will need to scale up. This leads to a platform at the top of a slide.

Around the play tower, there are also low swinging hammocks.

Younger kids have their own play area not far away.

A green and orange hut

A green and orange hut provides the space for a little fun in front of Block 479A. The low structure has a set of numbered climbing footholds that leads up to the low platform. An enclosed tunnel provides another way in while a blue slide provides a way out.

Fish

Another piece of play equipment is a fish structure.

Kids can climb up the back of the fish along its tail and the come down the front of the smiling fish on a pair of double slides.

A blue merry-go-round can be found beside the big yellow fish.

Play at Valley Spring and Beyond

The two playgrounds at Valley Spring @ Yishun are one amongst many playgrounds in the “Springs” neighbourhood of Yishun. Other playgrounds to explore around the area include the Everspring playgrounds, cute grassland animals at the Casa Spring Playground and even the obstacle course playground at Forest Spring
