SkyOasis @ Dawson is best known for its spider playground, but don’t miss out on the roller slides and climbing walls around the corner too.
This less well-known children’s playground at SkyOasis @ Dawson consists of several play sections for kids.
Roller Slides, Terrazzo Slide and Climbing Wall at Dawson
One of the most interesting sections is a three-level playground, laid out over a terraced area between Block 40 and Commonwealth Avenue. There are three different play areas here.

There are a pair of roller slides, similar to those found at the Admiralty Park playground. The roller slides at Dawson are for children between 5 to 12 years old.
We especially liked the landscaping surrounding the roller slides, which makes the kids feel as if they are zipping downwards through nature.
On the tier above the roller slides, there is a a terrazzo slide that is wide enough for multiple kids or even kids and parents to go down together.
The highest tier of the playground has a climbing wall. This is fitted with footholds and climbing ropes for kids to haul themselves upwards.
At the very top of the tiered playground, there is a little sheltered area where parents and caregivers can have a seat while keeping an eye on their charges at the playground.
Linear Play Area
To the rear of the three-level playground, there are more play areas for kids.
This small padded playground includes teeter-totters, including a three-way one and a rocking see-saw.
There’s also low play structure that can challenge kids to make use of their gross motor skills.
It includes a rope tunnel for kids to climb through.
This play area complements the spider playground that can be found in front of Block 40B. It is also a short distance away from the Margaret Drive Hawker Centre and the Hills and Ribbon playground found there.
