Mention spiders and most kids would probably run away. However, there is one arachnid which kids are running towards and that’s the spider playground at SkyOasis @ Dawson.

The spider playground at SkyOasis @ Dawson is set amidst the towering housing blocks of the estate. With a sea foam green thorax and eight bright yellow legs, the spider playground stands out in the middle of the estate.

Kids can climb up into a little crawl space hidden within the spider.

Slide from the Spider Playground at Dawson

From that little platform, there is a slide where kids can make a quick exit.

Webbed Hammock

No spider would be complete without a web and slung underneath the spider is a webbed hammock. Kids can enjoy lying down on the hammock or just swinging about back and forth with glee at being able to hang out under a humongous spider.

Climbing Handholds

There are also other climbing ropes and handholds on the spider too.

The spider playground at SkyOasis@ Dawson is designed for ages 6 to 12 years old. It is located in front of Block 40B Margaret Drive.

Other than the giant eight-legged creature, there are also swings (an interesting set of basket swings) and a broad-looking see saw at the soft-padded floor playground.

Foot reflexology path

Fitness equipment cater to other members of the family. One feature that we spotted which stood out to us was the foot reflexology path. The stones on the path looked quite menacing.

The SkyOasis @ Dawson spider playground is one of several interesting playgrounds found around the estate. Most notably, the other stand out playground is the Alice in Wonderland playground over at Dawson Vista.

It is also located close to Queenstown Public Library, Singapore’s oldest existing library. Therefore, you can pair a visit to the library where you can read all about itsy bitsy spider before actually heading out to play with one.
