On 9 August 2020, the Singapore Civil Defence Force will first sound the “All Clear” signal at 10.30 am to signal the Anthem Moment. At this time, Singaporeans are encouraged to come together to sign the national anthem, Majulah Singapura.

During the Anthem Moment, there will be concurrent flag-raising ceremonies taking place at eight locations across the island. These locations were chosen to represent key national sectors. From home, Singaporeans can join the nationwide flag-raising ceremonies by tuning in to the National Day Parade 2020 coverage on TV or YouTube.

The second “All Clear” siren on 9 August 2020 will be at 8.20 pm. This signals the start of the Pledge Moment where citizens can join together to say the national pledge. The Pledge Moment will be the culmination of the NDP Evening Show.
