Occupying a hillock along Bedok North Street 1 is Garden Hill Park. As the name implies, it is a green space set on a hill in the Bedok neighbourhood.

Garden Hill Park is located between block 420 and 419 Bedok North. The fully appreciate the park, you need to climb and make your way up to the top of the hill.

A set of trees dot the summit of the hill while still keep an open space for those who wish to engage in activities such as toss about a frisbee.

The summit is where the Garden Hill Park playground can be found. The brightly coloured playground is made up of a little structure with a climbing ramps and a little swirly slide.

In addition to the Garden Hill Park playground at the summit, along the slopes at the base of the hill, facing out towards Bedok North Street 1, there is another playground beside Block 419.

This second playground offers more options for those who wish to experience some play time.

A nice spot to visit at Garden Hill Park is its butterfly garden, one of several butterfly gardens in Singapore.

Located on the slopes of the hill, the butterfly garden has plenty of different flowering plants which attract the fluttering insects. You can wander around the fragrant bushes and plants and also enjoy the company of the brightly coloured butterflies.

Other nearby parks include Bloom Leisure Park. There is also an interesting vertical playground at Bedok North Vale at the junction of Bedok North Avenue 1 and Bedok North Road.
