Singapore River Festival 2016 returns with the theme “River Connections” to celebrate the vibrant culture and lifestyle along the Singapore River precinct.

For the first time ever, a tightrope will be extended across the Singapore River for the opening act, ‘Crossings’ a dazzling tightrope spectacle by French performance group, Underclouds Cie who would be performing the original production inspired and conceived by the story of the Singapore River itself.

Festival-goers can look forward to a series of enjoyable experiences suited for all ages.

Highlights include:
– Multi-sensory acrobatic acts at the Riverfront Carnival
– The headline tightrope act, Crossings
– Circular Spectacular,
a street carnival featuring, live music, roving performances, street arty acts and fringe activities for all ages. These include The Barter Market, light installation by FLEX, as well as puppet making workshop and other children activities
– Fitness workshops at Robertson Quay such as kids’ yoga and barre boot camp

Singapore River (SR) Signatures will also be featuring the 21 winning dishes picked out by our four local celebrity chefs. Some of the restaurants will be running special promotions on these dishes during the festival.

Venue: Multiple events along Singapore River, from Clarke Quay, Boat Quay to Robertson Quay
