Best Sand Playgrounds in Singapore
KPMG Wellness Garden
KPMG Wellness Garden has quite a number play areas for children. For example, the Driftwood zone is an adventure log play area where kids are encouraged to climb, jump and crawl over wooden logs in a sandy play area. Tampines Boulevard Park West
The Tampines Boulevard Park West sand play area is inspired by the former Tampines sand quarries. It has a rock climbing wall that kids can go bouldering on. Labrador Park Playground
The large sandy playground at Labrador Nature Park has a wooden maze nearby and the park’s grounds are wonderful open spaces for kids to enjoy. There is also a small sandy playground in front of the machine gun pillbox near the car park too! We love how it is beside the water and, at the right time of the day, you can enjoy the sea breeze too. After Then take a seaside stroll along the promenade or head to nearby Bukit Chermin Boardwalk to take in views of Sentosa.

PropNex Family Zone
PropNex Family Zone has a huge sand playground where kids can engage in sand play amongst various play elements that add to the sense of adventure for kids. There is a red rope bridge for little explorers that spans across the sand pit along with other wooden stations where kids can enjoy some simple fun. One nice touch at this sand play area is that tarps have been setup to provide some degree of shade at the various play stations. COMO Adventure Grove
The playground’s 5.8-metre tall Weeping Fig spreads its “branches” far and wide in the middle of a big sandpit. Another nature-inspired play area is littered with several unusual looking red objects – giant saga seeds. This is also a sand playground where kids can dig with delight. Tiong Bahru Park Playground
We never get tired of the sand playground at Tiong Bahru Park. With its iconic tilting train, Tiong Bahru Park’s sandy playground is a lovely spot within the heartlands where the kids can play to their heart’s content. Once they get tired of their sand toys, they will soon be racing to the swings, traversing the ziplines or commandeering the train.

Sembawang Park Playground
There are two sand play spots within Sembawang Park where kids can get digging or build sandcastles. The first sand playground is the site of the awesome Battleship Playground. Hindhede Nature Park
The Hindhede Nature Park playground is built on two sand pits, around the Waringin Hut. The Amazon-themed play structure at one of the playgrounds has low platforms and nets for kids to enjoy. Kids can also bring along their buckets and spades and dig about in the extensive sand playground. When they get bored with sand play, they can enjoy the swings or the flying fox zipline nearby. West Coast Park
With no beach to speak of, West Coast Park makes up by having a large sand pit close to the shoreline. There is plenty of sand at the adventure playgrounds too and you can easily find a shaded spot for the kids to play with their sand toys. Find out more about West Coast Park.

Faber Hills Park
Faber Hill Park is a neighbourhood park, nestled away amidst the houses at the Faber Hills neighbourhood. For kids who would love to have some digging fun, they can head over to the sand play area in the park where there is a mechanical excavator that they can work to dig away at the sand. Jurong Lake Gardens: Forest Ramble
Forest Ramble, the Jurong Lake Gardens Playground, is the largest nature playgarden in the heartlands. The sandy playground draws inspiration from the animals that live in a freshwater swamp forest and the result is inspired and interesting play stations for kids to enjoy.
