In part, this is due to its large rooftop playground, Westgate Wonderland which features a 10-metre tall treehouse along with wet and dry play areas. Other attractions for kids at this Singapore shopping mall include a choo-choo train ride, Zoomoov rides, cassia seeds play area and paid craft activities. There are also little water jets at the ground level.

Westgate also offers plenty of shopping opportunities with its anchor tenant Isetan and a range of beauty and wellness shops, and electronics and sports shops. Dining options at Westgate range from the basement food court to restaurants.


VivoCity

VivoCity Water Feature at the Rooftop

With a varied range of restaurants and eateries and a good mix of shops for mom, dad and junior, VivoCity is a very family-friendly shopping mall in Singapore.

We love the shopping mall’s wide aisles and the ample space its rooftop garden provides. Kids can enjoy a variety of activities at VivoCity including Mini Express Train that takes its passengers for a ride along the waterfront promenade and Happy Paddle Boats at the Level 3 Sky Park which takes advantage of its unique rooftop water feature. There is the ever-popular Play Court on the Level 2 as well. From VivoCity, families can step out for an after-meal stroll along the adjacent Sentosa Boardwalk too.


Changi City Point

Located next to Expo MRT, Changi City Point is an outlet shopping mall which houses a variety of fashion brands. It has various restaurants, mainly around its Basement Atrium, and two food courts. Its wide aisles provide ample space for parents with strollers.

At level 2 is an outdoor playground with wet and dry play areas, located just beside the food court. One floor above the playground is an outdoor garden area for those seeking respite. At Changi City Point’s basement are miniature gardens including one where shoppers can buy fish food to feed fish in a pond.


Suntec City

Suntec City, located in the Marina Bay vicinity, has over 380 retail shops and 100 dining outlets – more than sufficient choice to satisfy the entire family.

The large mall has several entertainment areas for kids and families. These include paid playgrounds such as Polliwogs and Cool de Sac and a free children’s playground on Level 3, a play area inside the Marche restaurant and the outdoor Sky Garden on Level 3 where you can get a view of the Fountain of Wealth. Older ones can experience some VR action at Zero Latency.

Seletar Mall is a heartland mall in the Sengkang area. As a smaller mall that serves the surrounding hinterland, it offers a good mix of stores ranging from fashion to sports to lifestyle and serves. Kids can play at the mall’s free (but modest) rooftop playground on the fourth floor or at a paid indoor playground a floor below. Seletar Mall also has a cinema which provides an entertainment option for family time.


City Square Mall

City Square Mall

City Square Mall offers approximately 200 shops with anchor tenants such NTUC FairPrice, Best Denki and Decathlon. It has a mix of fashion apparel and lifestyle shops. Kids will gravitate towards the Toys “R” Us and Babies “R” Us at Basement 2.

For kids, City Square Mall has a large park and playground, City Green. It is also home to AIRZONE, the suspended net playground. Other family-friendly facilities include family car parking lots and baby and potty seats in the cubicles. Shoppers can even approach the Customer Service Counter at Level 2 for complimentary use of kiddy carts and baby strollers.
