Ready to take a ride into the sky? Adrenalin junkies will love Slingshot Singapore at Clarke Quay, Asia’s tallest slingshot that sends riders up to 70 metres in the air. 

A ride on the Slingshot at Clarke Quay will allows riders admire a unique view of Singapore from up in the air. 

With Slingshots in more than 70 countries around the world, primarily in Europe, the one in Singapore is the tallest in Asia.

It has an inclined structure that is 54 metres high and is powered by almost 200 springs. There are two sets of steel cables for redundancy.

All this allows riders to be catapulted skyward at a speed of 160 km per hour.

To get a taste of what it is like to be a human cannonball, riders will first need to make their way into the “volcano” where they get to meet the two-seater gondola that is going to take them up into the air.

Riders are strapped into the gondola before the seats shift into a reclined position, revealing a wide open view of the heavens above.

Then it is time for the volcano to erupt!

Shooting out of the volcano, riders will experience forces of up to 4G, making them feel up to four times their body weights.

The ride lasts just two minutes and you will be able to enjoy spins and 360 degree twirls while in the air before being lowered back to the ground.

Riders can also purchase a video recording of their ride to relive the adrenalin-pumping experience.

Construction on the Slingshot ride started in 2020 during the pandemic. It took three years to complete. 

Slingshot Singapore’s General Manager, Ken Lee, said: “Nothing will be more exhilarating in Singapore’s city centre than hopping onto the world-famous Slingshot ride. We are thrilled to launch Slingshot at the iconic Clarke Quay, at a time when Singapore welcomes back tourists and more locals come out to play. We hope that Slingshot will give everyone the opportunity to do something crazy for once and chase away all forms of stress!”

Ms Ashlynn Loo, Director, Attractions, Entertainment and Tourism Concept Development, Singapore Tourism Board said: “As international travel ramps up, attractions like Slingshot add diversity to the offerings in Clarke Quay, and boost Singapore’s position as a vibrant lifestyle destination. We are excited for both local and international adrenaline-seekers to experience Slingshot, and see the iconic Singapore skyline from a fresh perspective.” 


Slingshot Singapore Tickets & Pricing

Tickets are sold at $45 for adults and $35 for students aged 18 years and below.

Slingshot Singapore is open daily from 4.30 pm to 11.30 pm. It is located at 3E River Valley Road, Clarke Quay, Block E, 179024. 

There is no age requirement but riders need to be above 125 cm in height.
