It has an inclined structure that is 54 metres high and is powered by almost 200 springs. There are two sets of steel cables for redundancy.
All this allows riders to be catapulted skyward at a speed of 160 km per hour.
Ride Experience at Slingshot Singapore
To get a taste of what it is like to be a human cannonball, riders will first need to make their way into the “volcano” where they get to meet the two-seater gondola that is going to take them up into the air.
Riders are strapped into the gondola before the seats shift into a reclined position, revealing a wide open view of the heavens above.
Then it is time for the volcano to erupt!
Shooting out of the volcano, riders will experience forces of up to 4G, making them feel up to four times their body weights.
The ride lasts just two minutes and you will be able to enjoy spins and 360 degree twirls while in the air before being lowered back to the ground.
Riders can also purchase a video recording of their ride to relive the adrenalin-pumping experience.
A “Slingshot” of Adrenalin
