The animal figurines have a hexagonal base design that allows enthusiasts to combine multiple figurines to form a diorama of the Singapore Zoo.

Daisy Tan, Vice President of Retail, Mandai Wildlife Group, said, “Through this collaboration with XM Studios, we hope to reach a very diverse audience together, and create awareness about different wildlife species that share our planet. These animal figurines have stories of their own in our parks, where they are cared for and loved. We hope these meaningful nuggets of stories are told and retold amongst friends and family. We are putting 50 per cent of the sales proceeds into wildlife projects we support, so every purchase comes with Conservation Included.”

As part of the official launch of this series of collectible figurines, Mandai Wildlife Group and XM Studios collaborated with 27 media personalities, artists, and creators who stepped forward to give their time to hand-painting and creating personalised versions of the animal figurines.

Amongst the personalities who have hand-painted the figurines are local host and media personality, Sonia Chew, Lydia Yang, illustrator and creative entrepreneur more popularly known by her online handle, Oak & Bindi, and Kunhua, who is known as DJ Kunz.

These one-of-a-kind pieces will be sold on Mandai Wildlife Group’s e-shops on Lazada and Shopee from 8 March 2024, and 100 per cent of the proceeds will go towards conservation projects in Singapore and the region.

Ben Ang, CEO of XM Studios, shared, “We wholeheartedly support Mandai Wildlife Group’s mission of caring for the planet, protecting animals and nature. XM Studios is very grateful for the opportunity to showcase our expertise in design and production through these figurines inspired by the magnificent creatures that call the Singapore Zoo their home. This partnership showcases the extraordinary outcomes that emerge when like-minded organisations come together to raise awareness for wildlife. Together, we hope to make a difference, one figurine at a time.”
