If you love floral displays, step into Jewel Changi Airport’s Jewel Blooms: What A Feelin5 happening from 24 May to 11 August. There will be over 15, 000 florals on display with five distinct zones in Canopy Park.

Spring will turn Canopy Park into a sensory spectacle with larger-than-life floral displays. See over 1, 000 wisterias suspended from the ceiling of Mirror Maze; meander through flowers in hues of pink and be mesmerised by kinetic butterflies at the Foggy Bowl.

There are six key floral installations that to bring out an emotion that visitors experience when they are at Jewel, namely: happiness; peace and calm; love; sense of adventure; and passion.

Hedge Maze: A Maze of Sunshine

Get lost in a sunflower maze bursting with a sea of over 3,000 cheerful blooms and 70 towering sunflowers at Hedge Maze: A Maze of Sunshine.

For a touch of whimsy, navigate the Mirror Maze: Tranquil Blossoms that is adorned with 1,000 cascading pink, purple, and white wisterias, creating a mesmerising kaleidoscope effect.

Topiary Walk: Bloomventure

Keep your eyes peeled for a touch of surprise at Topiary Walk: Bloomventure. An abandoned jeep and giant animatronic Venus fly-traps lurking around every bend, add a rustic touch to the exploration.

Foggy Bowls: Blooming in Love

Romance fills the air at Foggy Bowls: Blooming in Love with over 80 lighted paper and kinetic flowers dancing in the gentle mist, creating a captivating spectacle. Fluttery butterflies (some even kinetic!) measuring up to 1.7 metres in height add to the enchanting atmosphere.

Seek serenity at Source Pool: Swimming in Harmony, a tranquil display that features nine larger-than-life goldfishes swimming among live water plants on a misty pond.

Petal Garden: Super Blooms

Japanese floral artist Megumi Shinozaki will also be creating a special large-scale floral artwork, Petal Garden: Super Blooms, comprising over 9,000 hybrid starchis bundles grown only in Japan. It will be her first artwork in Southeast Asia and it is the largest installation at Jewel Blooms.

Other Highlights at Jewel Blooms: What A Feelin5

Shop for plants, flowers, handmade crochet flowers and other craft, lifestyle products at Jewel Blooms Marketplace, Basement 1 Atrium.

This marketplace will be held from 31 May to 9 June, from 10 am to 10 pm.

How about getting a new plant without spending a cent? Join in the Plant Swap happening on 1 June from 10 am to 12 pm. Meet fellow plant parents at the plant swap event, exchange tips and discover new additions to your green family. Admission is free, grab your tickets from the Jewel Plant Swap Facebook page.

For aspiring florists, join Youth Floral Cup happening on 24 May. This floral design competition is for primary school students. Participants will be given a surprise box of fresh flowers and leaves, and have one hour to design their floral artwork. Send an email for more details, the registration fee is $30.

Other 5th Anniversary Celebrations at Jewel Changi Airport

In the second half of the year, visitors can also look forward to a new behind-the-scenes tour “In the Eye of the Jewel Rain Vortex”.

The tour will offer a glimpse into the intricate workings of the world’s tallest indoor waterfall, participants will get exclusive access to never-before-seen views of the Jewel Rain Vortex from the inside.

A part of the programme will also introduce participants to the work behind getting Canopy Park ready for operations every morning.

In addition, shoppers and diners can look forward to over 50 anniversary perks across retail, dining and in-store experiences, specially curated in collaboration with Jewel’s tenants for the 5th anniversary celebrations. These exclusive offers and promotions will be rolled out in phases.
