For parents who are looking for a little play area for kids while along Orchard Road, 313 Somerset has a free children’s playground located on level five.
The 313 Somerset playground can be found at the mall’s Sky Terrace. It is conveniently accessible through the Food Republic food court.
Unlike the larger children’s playground at Paragon shopping centre, this outdoor children’s playground caters to younger kids.
313 Somerset Playground for Kids 2 to 5 Years Old
The play equipment at this children’s playground can be found at a sectioned-off area at there outdoor verandah next to the food court.
It is designed for children between the ages of 2 and 5 years old. Children need to be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
There are a few small and simple play features for young children at the 313 Somerset playground.
A tree-themed play panel stands at the far end of the playground. Beside it is a red coloured house shaped play area where kids can have some fun playing make-believe.
A low slide, suitable for the younger age group, is another piece of play equipment at the playground.
A bright orange and yellow springer that kids can have a seat on offers some wobbly fun.
Yet another piece of play equipment is a mini suspension bridge.
With its convenient location next to the food court, the 313 Somerset playground is ideally suited for families who may be dining there. And when the little ones start to get restless, they can head out to the verandah for some fresh air and simple play.
Take note that high heels are not allowed in the playground because they can damage the soft padded flooring.
Sky Terrace and Playground Opening Hours
At the other end of the outdoor verandah Sky Terrace, there are some coin operated rides too.
The 313 Sky Terrace and playground at 313 Somerset is open from 10 am to 10 pm. Admission is free.
