National Day Celebrations at National Museum
Be part of the National Day 2019 celebrations taking place on 9 and 10 August at the National Museum of Singapore. There will be a colouring competition for families, scavenger hunt around the galleries and storytelling sessions too. Kids can burn off energy at the inflatable bouncy castles and make a wearble headgear craft. The Milo van is going to be there too! On 9 August, the day culminates in a live telecast of the National Day Parade on the Front Lawn. Admission is free.

National Day 2019 Celebrations at Gardens by the Bay
On the National Day 2019 weekend, join local artists Kit Chan, Dick Lee, Rahimah Rahim and others at a National Day Concert at The Meadow, Gardens by the Bay. There will be fringe activities like sand art and face painting workshops, along with a 20-metre long inflatable playground and food trucks.
On 2 to 4 and 16 to 18 August, enjoy free performances at the outdoor gardens based on two local folktales. The Scourge of the Swordfish and The Friendly Snake will be brought to life through music, actors and puppets. The month of August will also see a special National Day 2019 edition of Garden Rhapsody – Songs of Singapore – at in the Supertrees.

Sports Hub National Day Fiesta
Ready, get set, and go… for a fun time at Sports Hub National Day Fiesta on 9 August 2019. Families can a team up and take part in the OHANA Games, suitable for 4 year olds and above. This features locally-infused elements like pulling a rickshaw and the Samsui Dash. Fitness buffs can go all out at the RED-X Challenge or dance along with family and friends in the Sports Hub Workout Lah! There will be a live screening of the National Day Parade 2019 in the evening too.

Singapore Zoo, River Safari and Jurong Bird Park
Have a wild celebration at Singapore Zoo, River Safari and Jurong Bird Park. There will be special National Day Animal Presentations on 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 August. Stop by the ‘Love Thy Neighbour’ booth to complete a task as a family and receive an exclusive animal pin, while stocks last. During the month of August, local residents visiting Jurong Bird Park, River Safari or Singapore Zoo can get a second admission at 54 per cent of the original price with every paying adult. However, take note that the promotion is not valid between 9 to 12 August 2019.

Heritage Hurray at Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall
Enjoy a Community Art Market, fun workshops and a special National Day edition heritage trail at the Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall on 9 and 10 August. Take part in a miniature clay sculpting workshop, toy painting workshop, sketching workshop and more as Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall celebrates National Day 2019 in Singapore. Participants of Heritage Hurray! will also stand to receive a National Day Fun Pack. Admission is free.

Gawk at the displays at an F1 Roadshow, participate in KidZania Go role-playing activities, and enjoy face painting and carnival activities at Our Tampines Hub from 8 to 10 August 2019. On 9 August, there will be a live screening of the parade too.
