Head to Gardens By The Bay this weekend to experience a Spring Surprise.
From 17 to 19 January 2014, Gardens By The Bay will be holding performances, movie screenings and launching a children’s activity sheet on tea to usher in the Lunar New Year.
Movie Screening
On Friday, 17 January, evening, watch ILO ILO and The Family Reunion under the stars, starting from 8.00 pm, at the Supertree Grove.
Weekend Performances
On 18 and 19 January, experience the thrill of lion and dragon dance performances from 5.00 pm to 6.00 pm around the Golden Garden and Supertree Grove.

On Saturday, 18 January, visitors will also be able to catch performances by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra at the Supertree Grove from 6.00 pm while the NUS Wind Symphony will be entertaining the crowds at the Flower Dome from 4.00 pm to 5.00 pm.
To experience some Chinese culture, head to the Supertree Grove on Sunday, 19 January, to watch Chinese opera excerpts presented by the Chinese Theatre Practice, accompanied by a live orchestra.
Activity Sheets for the Family
Learn more about tea and its origins at activity stations at the Cooled Conservatories over the weekend of 18 and 19 January. Pick up a free children’s activity sheet with purchase of Conservatory tickets (whilst stocks last) to learn fascinating facts about tea. Guided stations for the tea activity sheets are open from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm.
Visitors can also go on the trail of flower remedies with a free trail map (also available with purchase of tickets and whilst stocks last) to discover more about the properties of plants such as chrysanthemums and camellias. Available till 16 February.
