Queenstown has undergone a transformation over recent years and one of the most striking features is the tall high-rise residences that have appeared. Amongst these is SkyResidence @ Dawson and you can pay its Roof Garden a visit to enjoy some views of the changing neighbourhood.
SkyResidence @ Dawson Roof Garden
The SkyResidence @ Dawson Roof Garden is one of several in the area. It connects teh flats from Blocks 34 to 36 Margaret Drive.
Shhh… here’s a secret. It isn’t actually on the roof. Instead, it is located on the Level 27.
Nonetheless, it is still high up enough that you can enjoy the views of the surrounds. To the south is the Alexandra neighbourhood. Looking northwards, the views are more open with the greenery of Dempsey and expanse of Singapore Botanic Gardens ahead. The two views are quite contrasting.
Since the apartment blocks are set at an angle to each other, the SkyResidence @ Dawson Roof Garden also faces out to offers views at different angles.
The SkyResidence @ Dawson Roof Garden is also green with plants, providing a nice oasis to sit down and simply enjoy the moment.
SkyResidence @ Dawson Roof Garden Children’s Playground
A little tip for parents with young children, the SkyResidence @ Dawson Roof Garden has a children’s playground. This soft-floor playground has a little teeter-totter for kids and a simply climbing frame. Markings on the floor guide children to enjoy different movements around the play area.
It is a chance to have some simple playtime up in the middle of the air, under the open sky.
SkyResidence @ Dawson Sky Terrace
In addition to the Roof Garden, you can also pay a visit to the Sky Terrace which occupies levels 3 to 7. It a pleasant place for a walk, criss-crossing up and down the different levels.
SkyResidence @ Dawson is also connected to the new Margaret Drive Hawker Centre. If you enjoy this area, you can also pay a visit to the nearby Alexandra Canal Linear Park for a ground-level walk.
