During the March school holidays 2017, head down to the Singapore Zoo and River Safari to learn the importance of conserving critically endangered wildlife. Through learning trails and craft activities, everyone can learn about the role they can play to make sure today’s animals don’t go the way of the dinosaur.

Singapore Zoo Activities During the March 2017 School Holidays

Together for Wildlife Trail (11, 12, 18 & 19 Mar, 10 am to 4 pm)

Head on a Together for Wildlife Trail to learn about critically endangered animals such as the Sumatran elephant, Sulawesi crested macaque and the Sumatran orang utan. The first 150 participants to complete the trail per day will receive an ice cream cone.

Kids Crafts (11, 12, 18 & 19 Mar, 10 am to 4 pm)

Kids can transform egg cartons into adorable egg carton turtles or decorate orang utan and elephant masks in fun craft activities that highlight the importance of protecting these endangered animals.

Animal Enrichments (11, 12, 18 & 19 Mar, 10 am to 4 pm)

Watch as animals undertake different mental and physically-enriching activities that encourage their natural behaviour. Check for the timings of these special feeding sessions at the Singapore Zoo.

Dino Meet and Greet

Dino Meet & GreetCome up close to T-Rex or Velociraptor in a dino meet-and-greet sessions. These take place on the weekends in March at 11.30 am, 1 pm and 3 pm.

River Safari Activities During the March 2017 School Holidays

Together for Wildlife Trail (11, 12, 18 & 19 Mar, 10 am to 4 pm)

Go on a trail where you will encounter animals such as the Indian gharial, Mekong Giant Catfish and Amur sturgeon. Complete the trial to receive a soft drink in a souvenir cup (limited to the first 100 per day).

Keepers will also be giving live commentaries about critically endangered animals during feeding sessions. Check at the River Safari for details

Locals Enjoy 50% Savings on Combo Ticket

Between 1 to 31 March, local residents get to enjoy 50% savings if they purchase a admission combo to Singapore Zoo and River Safari. Usually priced at $63 for adults and $42 for children between three to 12 years old, for the month of March, local residents can purchase the ticket at $31.50 per adult and $21 per child (three to 12 years old). This promotional rate is available online and onsite. Terms and conditions apply.
