Changi Airport goes Swiss this September with a Winter Playground for kids.
Consisting of a giant inflatable and ski carousel at Terminal 3’s Departure Check-In Hall Row 11, the Winter Playground will be available during the September school holidays (6 – 15 September 2013) and the subsequent two weekends (21, 22, 28 & 29 September 2013).
Open to the public, passes can be redeemed with a same-day receipt, with a minimum spend of $40 ($30 for Changi Rewards members). Children must be at least 0.8 metres to enter the Winter Playground which is open from 12.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
A Taste of Switzerland
Visitors can also find out more about Switzerland at a free interactive exhibition and watch pastry chefs churn out delectable desserts with Swiss chocolates and sample Swiss cheese and bread on Saturdays, 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm, and Sunday, 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
Cow Stacking
Adding to the family fun, the public can also take part in a cow-stacking challenge to stand a chance to win a 6-day, 5-night family vacation to Switzerland. Competitors will need to stack “cows” on top of one another in qualifying rounds with the semi-finals and finals taking place on 28 September 2013.
Simply Switzerland takes place from 6 to 29 September 2013, from 12.00 pm to 10.00 pm.
