Tucked within the lush greenery and nature of Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park lies Shared Table, the newest dining concept co-created by Jerls Su, the entrepreneur behind Average Service, and Jazreel Low, Spa Director of Aramsa.
Opening its doors on 14 September, the restaurant offers hearty meals that nourish the mind, body and soul. Conveniently nestled within the park, the restaurant hopes to complement a part of your day at the park, be it over breakfast, lunch or dinner.

BILINGUAL PRESCHOOL & STUDENT CARE: Nurture Kids to Succeed in Heart & Mind
NEW & EXPECTANT PARENTS: Discover Gifts & Offers
The menu at Shared Table revolves around the Nourish Plate (from $21.90+), inspired by the Japanese principle of Ichiju Sansai (一汁三菜), which translates to “one soup, three dishes”. The philosophy centres on balance, variety and mindful eating. Each plate consists of one grain, one protein, two sides and a soup of the day, which we had the opportunity to try.
Mains
Some favourites include the Couscous with Furikake and Kombu, which was larger than the standard couscous and had a light umami flavour from the kombu, making it a wonderful base for the meal.
I also really enjoyed the Lemongrass Chicken Thigh, which came doused in a delicious sauce made with lemongrass, shallot, ginger, garlic and Thai chilli. The Hainanese Sous Vide Chicken Breast was another highlight, offering a really delicious take on the classic chicken rice meat, with every bite being extremely tender.
I also particularly enjoyed the fish options. The Crispy Miso Salmon had a caramelised crust with a sweet honey and miso mixture that complemented the fish well, while the salmon itself was cooked just right. The Baked Halibut with Capsicum Escabeche was also really delicious. The fish was well cooked and tasted buttery, almost melting in my mouth with every bite.
Sides & Soup
As for the sides, I particularly enjoyed the Spicy Bonito Sprouts and Edamame, which gave a very refreshing bite and complemented the grains exceptionally well. The Mentai Potato Salad was also nicely coated and delicious, while the Gong Bao Tempeh with Cashew Nuts was exceptionally tasty. Each piece was well coated in the sauce, and I kept going back for seconds.
For the soups, the Mushroom Soup was deliciously hearty and rich in flavour. The Miso soup was also generously topped with seaweed and diced silken tofu.
A La Carte Items
Beyond the Nourish Plates, the menu also serves up other à la carte sides, including the Grilled Chicken Skewers and Hummus with Roasted Mushroom. Served with housemade tzatziki sauce, the Grilled Chicken Skewers were very tender and well marinated in cumin and paprika. The housemade Hummus was also a favourite, with a smooth texture and a mound of Shimeiji mushrooms on top, served alongside warm pita bread for scooping.
To finish off the meal, we got to try the Protein Pancake with Caramelised Banana ($17.90), which was absolutely delicious. Packed with 32g of protein, it is served with Gula Melaka and housemade peanut butter sauce, which pairs wonderfully with every bite. We also got to try the Coconut Ice Cream with Crushed Peanuts ($5.90), which was wonderfully refreshing.
Not to forget the drinks, Shared Table serves up coffee, matcha, tea and cocktails. I got to try the Thai Basil Gimlet ($18), a gin-based drink that combines Thai basil, lemongrass and chilli padi. The drink was sweet, sour and refreshing, pairing really well with the meal.
As the name suggests, Shared Table encourages patrons to come together, creating a welcoming atmosphere through its large windows and communal seating areas, where natural sunlight filters generously through its greenhouse-like design.
There is also an outdoor alfresco seating area which is pet-friendly, allowing patrons to dine alongside their furry companions. For those looking to enjoy a meal before or after their spa experience, Aramsa spa-goers can also enjoy 15% off their meals at Shared Table.
Shared Table opens on 14 September 2026.
