
Avid cyclists will be familiar with the Seletar West Park Connector. Stretching from Rower’s Bay and Yishun Dam to Piccadilly Circus near Jalan Kayu, the park connector is a great linkway for cyclists who may be on the Round Island Route.
The Seletar West Park Connector makes its way through the Seletar Aerospace Park, passing by number of sights. Here are some of the landmarks along the Seletar West Park Connector, starting from the West and heading Eastwards.

Rowers’ Bay & Yishun Dam
At the western end of the Park Connector is Rowers’ Bay. This node along the Round Island Route not only has stunning views but facilities like toilets and a vending machine. Just beside it is Yishun Dam, which is also scenic spot to watch the sunset beside Lower Seletar Reservoir.

Aircraft Sign Posts
Along the Seletar West Park Connector are various sign posts with cut-outs of aircraft associated with the Seletar Air Base. These include the Short Singapore Flying Boat (MKIII), Cessna 172K and Alouette III helicopter.
Seletar Airport Runway
The Seletar West Park Connector runs alongside the Seletar Airport Runway and it also goes past the end of the runway where you can watch planes taking off.
The Oval
The Oval has different restaurants and eateries in colonial bungalows set amidst lush greenery. The airplane-themed playground is great for kids too. A short walk in towards the airport fence line is Hyde Park Gate Garden and the boardwalk which overlooks the runway.
Hampstead Wetlands Park
A haven for birdwatchers, Hampstead Wetlands Park is centred around a pond. Owls, hornbills and other birds spotted in the area attract bird enthusiasts and their expensive cameras.
Seok Seng 1954 Bicycle Cafe & Hangar66 Cafe
Two other cafes that are slightly away from the Seletar West Park Connector path are Seok Seng 1954 Bicycle Cafe & Hangar66 Cafe. The two cafes are good if you are looking for more casual alternatives to the restaurants at The Oval.
Boh Geh Uncle Canteen
From Seletar Aerospace Drive, the Seletar West Park Connector makes a sharp right turn to Piccadilly. At the corner of the turn is the Boh Geh Uncle Canteen. Housed within a zinc-roofed structure, this canteen will bring back memories of National Service for old-timers.
Old Guard House and Jalan Kayu Node
If you head down Piccadilly, you will eventually arrive at Piccadilly Circus and the Jalan Kayu Node on the Round Island Route. The old Guard House is nice for taking pictures and there are also amenities like toilets here too.
