Experience Singapore Zoo at night on a multimedia night walk in an interactive, illuminated forest. Rainforest Lumina is a seasonal attraction being held in conjunction with Singapore Zoo’s 45th anniversary. It opens from 1 July 2018 onwards.
Along the one-km-long Rainforest Lumina trail, visitors will get to explore the Singapore Zoo after the sun goes down and the animals have gone to sleep. Consisting of more than 10 zones, Rainforest Lumina will include interactive features which aim to create greater awareness and empathy for nature. While the real animals will not be part of the experience, there will still be plenty to see at this night time experience.

Meet the Creature Crew
Visitors will get to meet the Creature Crew, a quirky group of unlikely heroes, and join them on an adventure around the Singapore Zoo at night. The group’s motto is “We Are One” and this reflects the Creature Crew’s belief that every species, both human and wildlife, has the power to give back to the rainforest.
The experience will treat visitors to a mesmerising multimedia experience around the enchanted world of the Singapore Zoo after dark.
Team Behind Rainforest Lumina
Rainforest Lumina is a collaboration between Wildlife Reserves Singapore and Moment Factory.
Moment Factory is a multimedia studio with full production expertise combining video, lighting, sound and special effects.
Moment Factory has created night walks around the world in locations such as Nagasaki, Japan, Coaticook, Canada and Kingston, Canada. This is Moment Factory’s first night walk in Singapore.
Each Lumina night walks draw inspiration from local culture and the event site in order to reach out and communicate to various audiences in a universal manner.
Rainforest Lumina Details
Rainforest Lumina at Singapore Zoo will open from 1 July 2018 onwards. The admission time will be from 7.30 pm to midnight. There are seven entry timings daily. Last entry will be at 10.30 pm.
Admission costs for Rainforest Lumina are $22 per adult and $15 per child. Take note that admission to Rainforest Lumina is separate from admission to Singapore Zoo and Night Safari.
