Jewel Changi Airport, the long-awaited new destination at Singapore’s international airport, will open to the public on Wednesday, 17 April 2019.
With a distinctive dome exterior made from glass and steel, Jewel Changi Airport is conceptualised to be a melding of a park and a marketplace.
Forest Valley & Retail Stores
The centrepiece of the new complex is the four-storey high Forest Valley. This features two walking trails which the public can explore. Another highlight of Jewel is the Rain Vortex. At 40-metre tall, this is the world’s tallest indoor waterfall.
Jewel Changi Airport features more than 280 retail stores and dining outlets. Amongst these are brands that will be making their first appearance in Singapore such as Shake Shack and Pokemon Center.
