This October 2026, IKEA Singapore is gearing up for fun in stores with its Play Festival. It is aimed at celebrating play at home with exciting experiences, fun game activities and two new exciting collections: YXSTABY, a home gaming collection co-created with Xbox, and ALPTALL, a children’s collection designed in collaboration with Nordens Ark, a wildlife conservation centre.

IKEA Singapore is transforming into a Play Festival this October with a month-long line-up of family-friendly activities, gaming challenges, and cosplay. There are plenty of opportunities for kids and families to play and have fun together.
ALPTALL Wildlife Adventure, Wildlife Quest & Colouring
YEAR-END CAMPS: Give Your Child's Language Skills A Boost With Themed Camps
ALPTALL is a new collection from IKEA. The playful collection is inspired by Himalayan wildlife.
Created in collaboration with Nordens Ark, a Swedish non-profit wildlife conservation, this new collection includes soft toys, textiles and play accessories designed to spark curiosity and imaginative play.
ALPTALL is available in IKEA stores and online from 2 October 2026.
From 2 to 31 October, families can also take part in the Wildlife Quest. Families with little ones 5 to 12 years old can spot and snap ALPTALL wildlife photo boards around the stores, and learn about fun wildlife facts.
Then, from 24 to 25 October at 1 pm to 6 pm, budding artists can colour their way to a prize in Colours of Himalayas activity. One winner from each IKEA store will receive a set of ALPTALL toys.
Spend $50 in a single receipt instore to get one claw machine token for a chance to bring home your first Himalayan wildlife friend. Catch it at IKEA Alexandra (7 to 8 November) and IKEA Tampines (31 October and 1 November), from 1 pm to 6 pm. Available while prizes last.
YXSTABY Collection in Action at IKEA Alexandra on 3 & 4 October: Quick Match Tournaments and Cosplayers
On 3 and 4 October, IKEA Alexandra is set to become a playground for all gamers and cosplayers, as part of a showcase of the new YXSTABY collection.
YXSTABY is a nine-piece home gaming collection designed to make it easier to bring play into a room and tuck everything away afterwards.
Co-created by seven designers from IKEA and XBox, YXSTABY features versatile pieces like seating, storage and accessories inspired by the iconic XBOX’s iconic controller.
The collection will launch in all IKEA stores from 2 October, and online from 8th October. Limited to 2 pieces per item, per customer in-store.
Gaming Fun
Step into the cosiest gaming nook on 3 and 4 October from 1 pm to 7 pm and battle it out with other players in 1 vs 1 matches. The overall leaderboard Top Player gets to take home $1,000 worth of gaming vouchers. This is open to all visitors aged 8 years old and above.
Participants will get a limited edition GÖTEHULT bag, while stocks last.
Challenge a Pro Gamer
You can also challenge a Pro Gamer in Valorant on 3 and 4 October. Step into the arena and go head-to-head with one of Singapore’s top gaming creators and Pro Gamer, CrazNeax, in an exclusive live gaming takeover on 3rd and 4th October, from 5 pm to 7 pm.
Test your aim, strategy and nerves in a thrilling showdown for the chance to challenge a Pro Gamer and receive a token of participation.
Cosplay & Best Dressed Cosplayer
Cosplayers, you can suit up as your favourite character, and put your creativity in the spotlight on 4 October, from 2pm to 6pm.
Complete fun photo missions in-store and share it on your social media by tagging @ikeasingapore.
Strike a pose, wow the judges, and stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including $100 IKEA Gift Cards and $100 beauty hampers for the Best Dressed Cosplayer. Sign-up online from now until 3 October, 5 pm, or in-store on 4 October from 2 pm to 5 pm.
Gaming Room
Also on 3 and 4 October from 12 pm to 7 pm, visitors can team up, challenge each other with dance, fitness or puzzle games in a gaming-themed room for the ultimate gathering and gameplay experience.
