Celebrate Singapore’s 61st birthday with islandwide celebrations of sport and community as part of GetActive! Singapore. The celebrations culminate in ActiveSG Celebrates! sport carnivals at five ActiveSG Sport Centres on 8 August 2026.
GetActive! Singapore 2026
The 11th edition of GetActive! Singapore by Sport Singapore was officially launched on 1 August 2026 at Our Tampines Hub.
In the lead up to the launch, GetActive! Singapore had already included programmes such as sport tryouts and competitions such as Youth@Play, ActiveX Playdate and Pesta Sukan.

Other GetActive! Singapore events include Lion City Dance Convention at *SCAPE, which runs until 2 August, and the Seniors National Games Finals will be held at The Kallang’s OCBC Arena on 4 August and the Nurture Kids Family Play Date with M.Y World at M.Y World @ Canberra Eastlink on 6 August.
ActiveSG Celebrates! Sport Carnivals
On 8 August, the public can look forward to ActiveSG Celebrates! sport carnivals that wil be held around the island at five ActiveSG Sport Centres.
The Bedok, Hougang, Jurong East, Queenstown and Woodlands Sport Centres will have sport tryouts, Active Health fitness challenges, wellness stations and National Day-themed activities and games as part of the ActiveSG Celebrates! Sport Carnivals.
Those who come dressed in red or white will be able to redeem an exclusive premium, while stocks last. There will also be event game cards with premiums that can be redeemed upon completion, as well as a free gym bag for those who sign up for SG61 fitness programmes at the event.
In addition, there will be Zumba, KpopX, Yoga, Aqua Fitness and other try-outs.
The events at Woodlands, Jurong East, Hougang Sport Centres and Heartbeat@Bedok will take place from 8 am to 1 pm. The event at Queenstown Sport Centre will take place from 4 pm to 9 pm.
