If your child is an adrenaline junkie, you might want to check out the latest attraction at the Kranji Countryside – Mud Krank! It’s Singapore’s first ATV Adventure Park where aspiring riders can experience outdoor, off-road thrills.

What is Mud Krank all about?

What is Mud Krank all about?

Think All Terrain Vehicles (ATVs) on a circuit just for the children! At Mud Krank, children ages 4 to 12 get to don helmets, safety gear and try an off-road vehicle navigating bends, overtaking other riders, avoiding obstacles and channeling their inner Monster Truckers.

Each session takes 15 minutes where the children can go round and round the circuit, have their speeds adjusted to a faster one, challenging their navigational skills and balance.

The 4X4 ATVs are all battery operated and do not run-on diesel for sustainability reasons. This also lowers the carbon emissions.

Sorry adults, you are definitely missing out for now but ATVs for adults should be arriving in a few months’ time.

Get Muddy? Not Really!

Get Muddy? Not Really!

Don’t expect to get all muddy at Mud Krank unless it’s wet weather. I was anticipating my boys to look like mud warriors post-ride but nope – they were disappointingly clean. Perhaps the Mud Krank could think about cranking up the mud factor with more puddles even during dry seasons.

Our Review of the Mud Krank: ATV Experience in Singapore

Cranking It Up At Kranji With Mud Krank’s ATV Experience

My son was really excited about their ATV rides as it was his first time attempting one! After gearing up with knee and elbow guards as well as a helmet, the riders were given a safety briefing and a tutorial on driving the ATVs. If you prefer to bring your own safety gear, you are most welcome to do so. The gear should include a helmet, elbow and knee guards.

The instructor ensured that the children knew how to steer – left, right and most importantly brake. During the session, there were also three instructors standing by with trouble-shooting or coaching the children if they faced any troubles on the circuit.

As the kids zoomed past us, we were obviously experiencing #fomo. We also cheered them on as they went on bends, humps and bumping into each other. The looks of exhilaration are evidence that the riders were enjoying themselves. Once the young riders got confident, the instructors increased their speeds so they could go faster, still well within speed limits of course.

You can also learn more about the children’s personalities through the way they rode their ATVS. Some were slower and cautious, others threw caution to the wind as they sped through the course bumping into the tyres or other ATVs in the process.

Where is Mud Krank?

Where is Mud Krank

Mud Krank is situated at Gallop Kranji Farm Resort. Just turn right as you enter the farm and hear the ATVs on the right most flank. It is right in between We Care Mini Animal Farm and Nature Nook – both of which you can visit while waiting for your turn on the circuit.

Opening Promotion at Mud Krank

Regular rates are $20 for weekends and $15 for weekdays. If you prefer to try out just one session first, it’s $20 per 15 minute session per child.

Mud Krank is also running a special opening promotion till the end of July with the 20 rides package costing $288, instead of the usual $388.

Children will need to be above 4 years of age and under 12 to ride on the ATV. It is advisable to book in advance before heading down.
