anello, the fashion brand known for its bags and accessories, has opened its first brick-and-mortar store at Jewel Changi Airport. Together with the opening of the new anello Jewel Changi store, the Japanese brand will also be launching limited edition and exclusive series bags in Singapore.
Kuchigane for the Win
anello is best known for its minimalist and chic designs. anello means “ring” in Italian and metaphorically refers to the “annual growth rings of a tree.” Its signature Kuchigane design features a wide opening with a hidden wire under the top zipper. This makes it easy to open up the bag and check on its contents, a characteristic that even makes it favoured as a diaper bag or a school bag by some.
At the 625-square-foot annello store at Jewel Changi Airport, Basement 1, shoppers can view a wide selection of designs, exceeding those found at any other sales outlets in Singapore.
Limited Edition anello Bags in Singapore
In August 2019, fans of the Japanese brand can look forward to the launch of the EXPAND Series at anello Jewel Changi. These stylish backpacks are made with water repellent nylon fabric and a water-stopping zipper. It comes with a side handle and below that allows it to be attached to the outside of a suitcase.

There are also add-on accessories available such as a multi pouch and a 15” Tablet and Laptop Sleeve.
With the opening of the Jewel Changi store, anello is also bringing in two limited edition collection from its Osaka flagship store in Japan.
The Osaka Limited Edition and the anello WPC collection will only be available at anello Jewel Changi.
The Osaka Limited Edition backpacks and shoulder bags are available in urban colours like black, navy, beige and lavender.
In the fourth quarter of 2019, the anello WPC collection will be available at Jewel Changi Airport. A collaboration between anello and WPC, an umbrella brand in Japan, the collection comes in light colours like lime green, coral pink and baby blue. Larger sizes are also available in black and navy blue.
Seasonal Collections at anello Jewel Changi
The store will also carry seasonal collections throughout the year. In the Spring-Summer 2019 collection, there is the overseas limited edition “Punching hinge clasp” collection, available in feminine colours.
