The Singapore Zoo closes its 40thAnniversary celebrations with fun-filled weekends in December 2013.
The “Zoo Hoo! Wild Wow Birthday” promises treats for the little ones with token feeding sessions, birthday surprises, games, mascot appearances and magic shows the whole family can enjoy.
Zoo Hoo! activities take place over the Saturdays and Sundays between 30 November and 22 December 2013.

Special token feeding sessions will be held with orang utans and other primates (11.00 am), pygmy hippos (2.30 pm) and chimpanzees (4.35 pm) where the animals will have the pleasure of unwrapping birthday presents and yummy treats.

Over at the Rainforest Courtyard (beside the retail shop), families can have their photo taken with 40thanniversary props at the Wild Wow Birthday Photo Wall. Photos will cost $5 and come in a limited edition Zoo Hoo photo jacket.
Mascots from the Zoo will make their appearance every hour between 10.00 pm and 3.00 pm at the Singapore Zoo’s entrance, with opportunities for visitors to take a snapshot with them.
Over at The Garden with a View, a Wild Wow Magic Show will be presented every hour between 10.30 am and 3.30 pm. Face Painting and Games will also be held there between 10.00 am and 4.00 pm.

The Zoo Hoo! Wild Wow activities during the December school holidays are the last in a series of events the Singapore Zoo has held in 2013 to mark its 40th Anniversary. In 2013, the Zoo has opened the Frozen Tundra exhibit and the River Safari.
