Singapore Zoo’s “best Christmas present ever” turns 25 this year.

Born 26 December 1990, Inuka was born in his mother’s den at the Singapore Zoo in the early hours of the morning.

To mark his 25th birthday, Singapore Zoo will hold a 10-day celebration where visitors can catch the 2.5 metre, 581 kg birthday boy enjoying icy treats at 1.20 pm each afternoon.

A photo exhibition, Our Arctic Future, will also be held at the Zoo’s Frozen Tundra exhibit to raise awareness on polar bears natural habitat.

It serves commemorates 50 years of bilateral relations between Denmark and Singapore and was developed by the Natural History Museum of Denmark in collaboration with the Governments of Greenland and the Faroe Islands for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
