There will be seven larger-than-life Sanrio character light installations on Siloso Beach in this year’s Island Lights. Some of the Sanrio characters who will be making an appearance at the fourth edition of Sentosa’s signature light-up include Hello Kitty, Pompompurin, My Melody and Little Twin Stars.
The Sanrio character light installations will feature classic icons from Sentosa from years past. These will allow visitors to Island Lights 2020 to revisit memories of Sentosa.

Look out for Hello Kitty at a stylistic rendition of the Sentosa Gateway arch.
Or for a real throwback, which only those of a certain age will remember, take a picture with Little Twin Stars at the eight-metre-tall Fantasy Island light installation which showcases the former attraction’s colourful waterslides.
My Melody will feature at a whimsical mini-maze with past landmarks such as the Ferry Terminal while Pompompurin will be at a re-creation of the ‘Siloso’ word block.
Visitors to Island Lights at Sentosa can take a a picture with a 12-metre-long LED neon outline of loveable Sanrio characters.
What To Know About Visiting Sentosa Island Lights 2020
In order to visit Sentosa’s Island Lights 2020, visitors will need to reserve a timeslot for a visit. Up to five persons per visit to see the Sanrio characters and three slots will be available every night. These are
Session 1: 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm
Session 2: 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm
Session 3: 9.30 pm to 10.30 pm
Visitors may make a booking up to five days in advance, with reservations for the first day of the event (Saturday, 12 December 2020) opening on Monday 7 December 2020.
On the day of the visit, head to Sapphire Pavilion along Siloso Beach, and present the reservation confirmation email with valid identification to enter Island Lights with Sanrio characters for free.
