SAFRA Choa Chu Kang is the latest clubhouse for NS men, serving those who stay in the northwestern part of Singapore. The six-level building (five stories and one basement car park) holds different facilities and you will also find food and dining outlets there.
This latest of SAFRA’s clubhouses is located at the northern end of Choa Chu Kang Park, just beside the Kranji Expressway.
What to Expect at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang Clubhouse
As of 27 May 2023, the SAFRA Choa Chu Kang is still in the midst of opening. Many shops and facilities are still not yet open.
In fact, SAFRA Choa Chu Kang has given an update about its opening on its Facebook page.
Nonetheless, here’s a quick look at what you can expect to find at the SAFRA Choa Chu Kang and it looks is pretty exciting.
Food and Dining at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang
The SAFRA Choa Chu Kang food outlets are located on the first storey at ground level.
There is a Burger King outlet, which has a drive-thru service. This is the first Burger King with a drive-in that we know of since the last one at Raintree Cove closed many years ago.
Along with Burger King at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang, there is also a Texas Chicken outlet.
For more local fare, try Food Paradise, the SAFRA Choa Chu Kang food court.
Next to the food court is the SYED CAFE Exclusive. It can also be reached its own entrance or via the food court.
CAMO Café & Bar is an army-themed cafe that serves burgers and pastas and more. It is definitely not your army cookhouse.
There is also the Choa Chu Kang Park McDonald’s just beside SAFRA Choa Chu Kang Clubhouse.
Family-friendly Facilities at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang
Also on the first floor is an indoor play area for kids that is run by Kiztopia.
Nurture Stars preschool has also opened at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang.
The second floor of the building is where the enrichment centres are located.
The Write Connection is already open and there is a Play Facto School student care centre that will be opening beside it.
More enrichment centres will be opening in time to come.
SAFRA Choa Chu Kang Swimming Pool
One of the impressive facilities of the new clubhouse is its swimming pool. Located on the second floor, the SAFRA Choa Chu Kang is outdoors but also sheltered.
A clear wall at one end of the SAFRA Choa Chu Kang swimming pool will allow swimmers to get an underwater view of Choa Chu Kang Park.
The SAFRA Choa Chu Kang swimming was still in the midst of being prepared to be opened when we visited.
SAFRA Choa Chu Kang Gym & Other Facilities for an Active Lifestyle at
There are also other facilities that SAFRA members can look forward to at SAFRA Choa Chu Kang.
There is a Futsal Court at Level Two.
The third floor of SAFRA Choa Chu Kang has an EnergyOne CCK gym that will be opening on Saturday, 3rd June 2023. Operating hours will be from 6.30 am to 10.30 pm. Take note that there will be different operating hours on Public Holidays.
Climb Central Singapore, an indoor rock climbing gym, as well as integrated entertainment hub Sonic Bowl will also be opening soon.
