Sapporo, the capital city of Hokkaido, Japan, is home to many different sights including the beer museum and Shiro Koibito Park. It can now add having a ramen hotel to the list.

Hokkaido ramen is a well-known variety of the flavourful noodle dish. Sapporo Tokyu Rei Hotel is capitalising on this with a collaboration with restaurant chain Ramen Yamaoka.

Sapporo Tokyu Rei Hotel’s unique ramen-themed rooms have been decked out to look like a ramen shop. The backdrops will stir up hunger pangs in ramen-lovers. It even comes with Ramen Yamaoka restaurant’s red sign and curtains.

Additional perks that come with the room include a special sports towel, so that guests can dream of ramen even while drying off.

There are edible perks that come with the ramen-themed room too.

We just hope that it doesn’t have any noodle shop smells because we don’t think that would be nice to come back to at the end of the day.

The rooms are only available till end of September 2020 which means that we won’t be able to savour them.

However, this triggered an idea in our heads – how about a laksa-themed room in Singapore? STB, what do you think?
