Prawning at ORTO has set up a new location at West Coast, allowing those who live in the west to pick up a rod and spend an hour or more relaxing in front of the prawn pond, just across the road from Haw Par Villa

Prawning at ORTO West Coast is a new prawning spot, located within the building that was formerly known as Westway. While its facilities at ORTO in Yishun are still available till June 2023, those will have to close when ORTO closes down in the mid-year.

A sample of the prices at Prawning at ORTO West Coast are:

$22 for 1 hour – includes one drink and guaranteed four prawns;

$34 for two hours – includes one drink and guaranteed eight prawns; and

$40 for three hours – includes two drinks and guaranteed ten prawns;

There is also a student special of three hours for eight prawns and a drink. However, this is not applicable on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. 

The prices are inclusive of rods and bait. 

Prawning at ORTO is located next to the zi char stall 88 Seafood. You can even get the prawns cooked at 88 Seafood so that you can feast on your catch of live prawns.
