On 5 and 6 September, Singapore International Marathon presented by adidas is taking over CQ @ Clarke Quay for the  Hood Loops Festival, a free and inclusive two-day running celebration of running, movement and community.


Hood Loops Festival

The Hood Loops Festival is an Singapore International Marathon initiative that brings the spirit of Singapore’s growing running culture to the wider community as part of the countdown to the Singapore International Marathon race weekend.

Runners, families, run clubs, and anyone looking for an active weekend out can take part in community runs, talks, art, fitness and wellness sessions, live entertainment, and festival activities running from morning into the evening during the Hood Loops Festival at Clarke Quay.

Highlights of the Hood Loops Festival

Community Run

There will be a community run on Saturday, 5 September, 6.45 am to 9.30 am. Join SGIM 2026 ambassador Joakim Gomez, visually impaired runners and PWD athletes on this inclusive 3km Community Run & Walk. 

The community run will be followed by a panel exploring how running can become more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Art Jamming with SGIM Finisher-Tee Designer Jonny Chan

Families can join an art-jamming session with local artist and SGIM finisher-tee designer Jonny Chan (@jjjjonny).

There are two art jamming sessions over the weekend at CQ @ Clarke Quay. These take place on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at the following times:

Session 1 – 1.30 pm to 2.45 pm
Session 2 – 3 pm to 4.15 pm

 

 


Catch SGIM ambassador Benjamin Kheng

On Sunday, 6 September, 7 am to 9.30 am, join Singer-songwriter and SGIM 2026 ambassador Benjamin Kheng at the Hood Loops Festival weekend. 


Run with Singapore’s Run Clubs

Experience the community behind Singapore’s running boom through 5km runs with local run clubs across the weekend.


Hear from Athletes and Experts

The weekend programme also includes conversations on inclusive running, the future of distance running in Singapore, and bone and joint health for runners, featuring athletes, industry figures and specialists. 

Other activities at the HOOD LOOPS FESTIVAL include a HIIT session with Anytime Fitness, wind down with yoga, explore the festival marketplace, grab a bite and stay on for evening entertainment with Singapore’s running community.
