Situated in front of Block 142 in Potong Pasir and next to the Community Club is a playground with climbing nets stretched out across a triangular frame. Uniquely shaped, the playground is best suited to older kids who may be able to tackle the challenge and take it as a test of their physical skills and coordination.
Climbing Tower Playground at Potong Pasir Block 142, next to the Community Club
The Potong Pasir Block 142 Playground has a rust-red coloured frame that create four triangular sides, each of which has a different challenge.
There is a rope bridge that kids can make their way across, set up around two metres high.
On the opposite side of the structure is an elevated circular rope tunnel for kids to scamper through as well.
A cargo net and rope ladder allow kids to scale up to a basket suspended around two metres off the ground on the third side.
Climbing Tube
At the centre of the Potong Pasir Block 142 Playground structure, there is a rope tube for kids to scale up to a rope platform above. A metal slide can be found on the fourth side of the structure provides a quick way down for kids who venture up the structure.
Together the playground tower next to Potong Pasir Community Club almost resembles the mast of a tall ship. The nets seem to be rigging for sailors to climb up and down the “mast”.
Low Nets
For younger children who may not dare to venture up the main playground structure, there is a lower one instead.
This features a green cargo net that has been stretched out to create a platform for kids to crawl on top of. Perhaps it is a training net that will eventually allow them to graduate up to the main play structure.

The Potong Pasir Block 142 Playground is a unique housing estate playground and offers some challenge just because of the height that some of the obstacles are set at. It is an fun spot for kids to play and challenge themselves.
