Singapore’s first charity ball pool event – Play It Forward – will kick off this weekend on 22 November at Causeway Point.
Frasers Centrepoint Malls is embarking on a year-long partnership with Community Chest to raise funds for five Family Service Centres that provide community-based focal points for families in need.
This Sunday, both kids and adults can get into a 64 square metre ball pool for 15 minutes with a minimum donation of $5. Frasers Centrepoint Malls has pledged to match donations made dollar-for-dollar up to $30,000. Funds raised from now till 31 March 2016 will be further matched dollar-for-dollar as part of the Care & Share Movement.
After the 22 November launch which will take place at the Central Atrium of Causeway Point from 10 am to 10 pm, the initiative will make its way to other locations around Singapore over the next year. Subsequent dates and locations are:
Northpoint Shopping Centre: 13 to 21 February 2016
Waterwaypoint: 14 to 20 March 2016
Yewtee Point: 13 to 19 June 2016
Eastpoint: 8 to 14 August 2016
Causeway Point: 21 to 27 November 2016
