#PetExpoConnect: A Digital Experience For the Pet-Lovers Community

#PetExpoConnect is a new virtual event which is taking place from 13 August to 13 September 2020! The digital experience for the pet community aims to Connect, Converse and Create new experiences for the pet community.

#PetExpoConnect is a month-long event which features of live educational webinar series, flash deals live sessions, fundraising & adoption drives, pet food donations and directory listing of pet suppliers.

The platform is a spin-off from PetExpo and provides brands and businesses with a platform to converse with the pet community.

The live seminar series sessions are lined up for 15, 16, 22, and 23 August 2020. During these interactive sessions, participants can expect to learn about a wide range of topics including responsible pet ownership, grooming for pet rabbits and more.

Another highlight of #PetExpoConnect will be the Flash Deals Live. These are being conducted in partnership with Pet Lovers Centre (15 August, 7 pm) and Shaggy Wagon (22 August, 7 pm) where deals will be made available during the hour-long programme.

Supporting Animal Welfare Groups

The Cat Welfare Society and Save our Street Dogs will also be holding virtual adoption drives.

In support of the two animal welfare groups, Royal Canin will be hosting a food donation drive, which will feature a range of 59 cat products and 52 dog products for sale. The products will be sold at a 20% discount from retail prices for the donation drive. Customers can either purchase the products for their own use or donate them to the Cat Welfare Society or Save our Street Dogs. Royal Canin will be matching kilo-for-kilo and donating the same amount to the animal welfare groups.

#PetExpoConnect will also feature a new initiative that aims to bring paw-rents and pet lovers who are currently single and with common interests together. Together with Table For Two and KRDS Singapore, the online matchmaking fundraiser will make use of a newly built website that mimics a dating app. Participant will need to pay a fee of $9 to take part.
