The north bank of the Ulu Pandan Park Connector has reopened, allowing walkers, joggers and cyclists to connect from Clementi Road through to Commonwealth Avenue West. The south bank of the park connector remains closed.

Last year, sections of the Ulu Pandan Park Connector, both the north and south bank, were closed after a landslide happened near the Clementi NorthArc project.

This incident resulted in a popular stretch of the park connector being inaccessible and with many regulars switching over to the park connector between Clementi Road and Ghim Moh.

Reopening of North Bank of Ulu Pandan Park Connector

In an announcement made on Facebook on 9 March 2023, NParks shared that they have fully reopened the North Bank of Ulu Pandan Park Connector on Wednesday, 8 March 2023. This includes the segment between Commonwealth Ave West flyover and Clementi Ave 6 flyover.

This will be welcomed news for those who enjoy making use of the path along the banks of Sungei Ulu Pandan.

However, a 550 m stretch of the South Bank of the Ulu Panda Park Connect, close to the land slip zone, will remain closed until the end of 2023.

This continued closure is to facilitate the final phase of recovery and reconstruction works.
