Marina Bay Singapore Countdown: Fireworks at the Bay
Singapore’s largest countdown celebration, the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2024, is presented by the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). This year, the New Year’s Eve countdown promises an unforgettable experience for revellers of all ages and backgrounds, with a breathtaking fireworks show.
This year, the highly-anticipated New Year Eve’s fireworks will be launched from a more central location of the Bay. This will allow more spectators to get a captivating viewing experience from all around.
The Marina Bay New Year’s Eve fireworks is produced by the team behind STAR ISLAND, the fireworks musical that mesmerised the crowd last year.
This year, the fireworks will light up the Bay across three chapters, unfolding at intervals in the hour leading up to midnight.
They have been choreographed to tell a story of reflection and hope, the fireworks will kick off with a tribute to the past year’s challenges and triumphs, before heralding the promise of new beginnings and thereafter, culminating in a 12-minute grand finale celebrating Singaporeans’ unyielding spirit as we embrace the future.
The audience can look forward to an immersive experience with artisanal fireworks that change colour as they burst and bloom into rings of different colours, accompanied by specially curated music played through speakers around the Bay.
Let’s Celebrate 2024
Join the rest of the revellers on New Year’s Eve at Let’s Celebrate 2024. Themed “Hit Parade”, this year’s edition features an exciting line-up of performances from home-grown and international acts, along with other leisure and entertainment options.
Amongst the highlights of Let’s Celebrate 2024 at the Marina Bay are a live DJ segment, delectable food and beverages, and carnival games where attractive prizes can be won.
For those who prefer to stay at home, the 2024 countdown concert can also be viewed on mewatch, Mediacorp Entertainment YouTube Channel and Channel 5 from 10 pm on 31 December 2023.

Come Together at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay
Celebrate friendships new and old as artists and kindred spirits come together for a time of collaboration, reflection and revelry with a series of free concerts at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.
On 31 December, catch The Next Wave and discover the fast-rising acts from our shores that you should definitely have on repeat in 2024. Get the freshest sound on your radar as heard by some of the finest ears in the community including songwriter and musician Isa Ong (Claude Glass, Pleasantry, sub:shaman, Amateur Takes Control), musician Sara Wee (53A) and producer Dominic Yuan (PARKA), in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay.
Then say goodbye to 2023 and hello to 2024 with Tiramisu as they deliver an electrifying performance, showcasing a collection of songs that span their remarkable 25-year discography. This special event is a tribute to the band’s incredible journey, marking their silver anniversary in style.

Brightening Lives
Another feature of the New Year’s Eve countdown to 2024 is Brightening Lives. This is a captivating series of light projection shows presented in partnership with The Majurity Trust, a local philanthropic organisation.
Running from 26 to 31 December 2023, revellers can feast their eyes on inspiring light projection artworks on the façades of three iconic Marina Bay landmarks – The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, the Merlion and the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands.
The light projections are based on original drawings by talented students from local educational institutions, these light projections depict stories of hope and empowerment in our community and celebrate the spirit of resilience and care for others.
TurboCharged
For those who are heading out to Marina Bay on New Year’s Eve, another event to look forward to is the new go-kart arena in the heart of the city. The 480 metre track features 12 corners.
Operating all the way till 31 December 2023, TurboCharged is a chance for ticket-goersto enjoy action-packed races at the Bayfront Event Space against the iconic Marina Bay skyline, or head over to the rooftop deck next to the track to find a scenic spot to watch the fireworks and usher in 2024 with friends.
The circuit will also feature refreshment stalls for both drivers and spectators.
Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland
Ice Magic: Winter Wonderland runs till 21 January 2024 and you can enjoy the cold of the arctic at this popular snow attraction. Experience a super-long snow slope and dual-lane ice slide as well as a snow merry-go-round.

Our Tampines Hub Countdown
Our Tampines Hub will be ringing in the New Year with Tampines residents by hosting an immersive large-scale digital projection mapping installation – ‘Many Stories, One Tampines’ Countdown to 2024 Show – with exciting festivities and dazzling fireworks.
The live event will take place on Sunday, 31 December 2023, at Our Tampines Hub’s Town Square from 10 pm till 12.30 am.
Be entralled by an immersive visual masterpiece with digital projection mapping experience which showcases the experiences and bonded memories of families and neighbours to celebrate the community spirit and inclusiveness in Tampines!
Residents will also be able to catch entertaining performances by one of Asia’s dynamic vocal band MICapella, local musical superstar Ska band Cesspit and hosted by celebrity Mediacorp FM933 DJ Hazelle Teo. Featuring the soundtrack of internationally renowned local Tampines girl, DJ Tinc, she will set your hearts pumping along with mesmerising fireworks display at the stroke of midnight during the iconic countdown celebration at Town Square!
From 30 December 2023 to 1 January 2024, the Festive Walk will be transformed into a family fun-filled kids playground with a Giant Ball Pit experiences and a budding talent “Open Mic” sessions for everyone, while there will be live music and cultural performances at the Festive Plaza. In addition, families are welcome to take part in the fun and exciting Giant Board Game Challenge at Central Plaza.
One Punggol
Starting from 4pm on 31 December 2023, head down to One Punggol to enjoy thrilling carnival games and dance the night away with our very own local entertainment artistes and talents!
Then count down to 2024 in the midst of dazzling laser and cold pyrotechnics display! The New Year’s Eve event will go on till late.
Public transport will be extended on 1 January 2024 after the joyous New Year’s countdown party!
