Two new attractions are set to open at Universal Studios Singapore by the year end.
Puss In Boots’ Giant Journey is a new suspended roller coaster ride where riders will go along with Puss and his accomplice, Kitty Soft Paws, on a wild goose chase. The outdoor ride will have an original storyline and is expected to be completed by end 2014. It is being jointly developed by Resorts World Sentosa, DreamWorks Animation and Universal Parks & Resorts.
Come September, a new stage show, The Dance for the Magic Beans, featuring Puss and Kitty will also make its debut at Universal Studios Singapore. The 20 minute show will include a chance for audiences to have a “meet & greet” with the characters.
Mr John Hallenbeck, Senior Vice President of Attractions at Resorts World Sentosa said: “We are excited to expand our collaboration with DreamWorks Animation. DreamWorks characters have been popular and the expansion will allow our guests to experience more of Puss In Boots, a franchise beloved by families and youths. The new ride is designed based on the popularity of our other crowd-pleasing suspended coaster, and will cater to not only families but thrill-seekers as well.”
