Try to count the number of minion figures hanging around the café and you may even feel like you’re in Gru’s factory.

Minion Café Menu

Minion dishesThe Minions Café comes with an exciting array of adorable and tasty dishes, so much so that diners may find it hard to resist ordering everything on the menu.

There are 14 items on the menu with a range of main courses, desserts and drinks that have been conceptualised and specially developed for the cafe.

Thankfully, the menu wasn’t dominated by banana-flavoured dishes and we were certainly not disappointed by the creativity of how the design of minions was incorporated into each of the dishes.

The Minions Cafe, Orchard CentralThe price point of the dishes is a tad high, but as they say: “beauty comes at a price”. In this case, you can feast your eyes on a variety of dishes such as “Minion Riceball Party”, “Minion Pudding” and the “Upside-Down Minion Jelly Soda Drink”!

Minions PizzaThere’s even a pizza box set on the menu which we recognised to be a reference to the pizza boxes in “Minion Rush”, the Despicable Me smartphone game that had almost 840 million players globally. We’re just glad we didn’t have to chase after it this time!

Chomp On In

Upside-down Minions DrinkWe tried the Minions’ Great Escape Cream Stew, S’more & Minion’s Ice Cream, Be Bad Café Latte and “Grucy” soda, which was a blue tropical fruit soda. As with most character cafes, it is more about the fun presentation than the taste of the food.

SmoresThe S’mores is a great dessert for those with a sweet tooth as it comes with perfectly toasted marshmallows on a chocolate sauce base with mango ice cream and some biscuits for you to dig into.

We also really like how the features of the minions on the foods are edible and are made of rice paper so you can chomp into them.

Shop Like a Minion

Minion MerchandiseAfter filling up your stomach, visitors can pop by the merchandise section of the store and shop away!
