Have a staycay with a herd of 18 manatees as your companions at River Safari’s Glamping with the Manatees programme from 21 to 27 December 2020.

The year-end school holidays has been filled with different staycation opportunities at unusual locations such as the Malay Heritage Centre and Jewel Changi Airport.

River Safari’s is now offering families the chance to a unique stayover with West Indian manatees at its enchanting Amazon Flooded Forest exhibit.

Glamping With The Manatees

The two-day, one-night Glamping with the Manatees programme will be available from 21 to 27 December 2020.

During their overnight visit to River Safari, guests will be able to go on a trail around the wildlife attraction, get to know its many animals and have a reserved seat at the Once Upon a River animal presentation. They will also encounter a mystery animal followed by dinner under the stars.


Home for the Evening

Home for the evening will be a tent with amenities, pitched in air-conditioned comfort at the Amazon Flooded Forest exhibit. Fall asleep in front of the world’s largest freshwater aquarium, home to the graceful West Indian manatees, arapaima and other freshwater fish.

Other parts of the package include a manatee-inspired activity before bedtime. In the morning, wake up to a hearty breakfast to get the day started.

Glamping with the Manatees programme costs $699 for a tent that sleeps up to four persons. Unfortunately, the SingapoRediscovers Vouchers cannot be used with this experience.
