This weekend, 12 to 14 November 2021, visitors to Choa Chu Kang Public Library can learn more about the future of food, sustainability and the latest in food technology at the Green Market: SG Food Tech Fest.

This is the inaugural Green Market by National Library Board, an initiative which was announced during the recent opening of the Choa Chu Kang Public Library. The Green Market will be held biannually.

Each edition of the Green Market will focus on different aspects of sustainable, healthy living through talks, workshops, exhibitions and activities for children.

The Green Market: SG Food Tech Fest taking place this weekend brings together food innovators, urban farmers, start-ups, and experts who will share their experiences and innovations with the public. It will feature a mix of both physical activities and online programmes.

Organisations participating at the physical showcase at Choa Chu Kang Public Library from 12 to 14 November include Aejou, Amplefresh, Crust Group, Ezy Gardening, Food Culture, Innovate360,  Impossible Foods, Lejomo, PM Haze and Shiok Meats.

For those who are interested to learn more about sustainability and food is a good opportunity to meet and learn from experts in this field.

Other programmes taking place over the weekend include talks on the need for food tech, alternative proteins, addressing food waste and more. The full list of programmes is available here.

The Green Market: SG Food Tech Fest is organised by Choa Chu Kang Public Library with Asia Sustainability Forum and supported by CapitaLand Hope Foundation and Lot One Shoppers’ Mall.
