The holiday season is upon us! It’s time to deck the halls and tuck into everyone’s favourite – FOOD!

From hearty roasts to tantalising sweets, there is plenty to look forward to for a celebration with family and friends. So, if you are wondering where to go to enjoy yuletide yummies, here are some festive feasting ideas to get you started.

There are more reasons to visit Changi Airport than the Pokemon this year-end season. Enjoy a festive buffet at Azur at Crowne Plaza Changi Airport where the holiday spread includes favourites such as Roast Rack of Lamb with Rosemary and Mustard Crust, Roast Turkey with Chestnut Stuffing, and Barbecued Grain-fed Beef Ribs.

On weekdays between 1 to 30 December, head to Capella Singapore’s Chef’s Table for Capella Festive Afternoon Tea and sample Christmas delights such as Christmas Feuillete with Parmesan and Dark Chocolate Cheesecake with Gingerbread Crust.

Especially for families is the Festive Family Tea Experience on 17 December where kids will be kept entertained at the interactive Gingerbread and Cupcakes Decoration corner.

On Christmas Day, Capella Singapore’s ballroom foyer will turn into a bustling market with the theme Capella Christmas Market for Christmas brunch. Enjoy delights like Foi Gras Custard with Gingerbread Crouon and Port Wine, Traditional Baked Christmas Turkey stuffed with Quince stuff and Natural Jus. There will also be a lavish spread of over 40 desserts, including Alphonso Mango Mousse Logcake with Passion Fried Seeds and Sponge and Bordeaux Canele.

Takeaway a Fully Loaded Turkey from Hotel Jen Tanglin for your Christmas party!

The traditional, western-style version of the turkey comes with mixed meat with apple & chestnut stuffing and trimmings like roasted potatoes, slow braised Brussels sprouts with bacon, braised red cabbage and maple glazed chesnuts.

Alternatively, try Jen’s Asian Roasted Turkey – Percik Style. This local version has Kerabau Prawn Mango, Peanuts, Asia Greens, Sri Lanka Crab Claws in Ah Hoi’s Chilli Crab Sauce with an Asian festive stuffing.

Enjoy a festive buffet at PARKROYAL on Pickering’s Lime from 2 December to 2 January 2017. The lunch and dinner buffet features tiger prawns, Alaskan king crab legs, scallops, mussels and clams, roasted Wagyu beef with red wine jus, Atlantic salmon fillet with glazed asparagus and orange butter and pandan coconut Yule Log.

On Christmas Eve, be treated to freshly shucked Pacific Ocean oysters, Maine Lobster Nonya Luxe-sa and cognac flambéed Foie Gras, while lobster bisque with Cognac cream, roasted Australian prime rib, apple and clove glazed pork loin and more will be served on Christmas Day.

mezza9 at Grand Hyatt Singapore will be serving up a festive Christmas Eve buffet dinner that include a sustainable crustacean bar with Maine lobsters, red king crab, scallops and more. There will also be butterball turkey, black Angus tenderloin, grass-fed lamb rack, Dingley Dell pork chops and more, all prepared on a Jarrah wood-fired spit roast.

Christmas Day Afternoon Tea will be served from 12 pm to 4 pm at 10 SCOTTS with bites such as poached Alaskan crab, freshly shucked oysters and holiday classic such as roasted organic turkey.

Other festive dining treats will also be available on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at Grand Hyatt Singapore’s other restaurants.
