Looking for an activity that you can do at home and show the power of creativity and imagination? Then you should check out HP Inc’s INKmaginary Toys a new concept where a sheet of printed paper and a toy brick can be turned into a butterfly, a dinosaur, a sailing ship and more.
HP INKmaginary Toys: Downloadable Printables
HP INKmaginary Toys is a collaboration between the tech company and Singapore artist Jeffrey Kong.
There are 15 downloadable templates that are freely available from the HP Printable website. These come with instructions on how to cut, fold and punched holes in the templates to fit with toy bricks.
The printable templates transform the bricks into an INKmaginary Toys. Some of the templates can also be personalised by children.
Sharing the Love of Play
“As an artist, I want to share the joy of hands-on play and love of toy bricks with everyone. I believe that playing and learning should not be mutually exclusive and INKmaginary Toys is the perfect blend of both, encouraging parents and children to engage in quality time together, build experiences, and bring back that sense of wonder through accessible materials such as printed paper and toy bricks. I am excited and honoured to collaborate with HP on this meaningful project to bring back the excitement of learning through print,” said Jeffrey Kong.
